On the negative side, the sushi is surprisingly pedestrian and there’s no fresh shrimp or crab legs (even snow crab). The desserts are stacked with a gelato selection, candied apples, cookies, toffee, and our favorites, crème brûlée, berry cheesecake, and the unmatched Wynn bread pudding, this one a butterscotch variation. All the high-enders have an only-at-our-buffet feature, and here it’s a latke bar with made-to-order options that include Reuben, brisket, and smoked fish. Entrées run the gamut from fried chicken to Caribbean lamb-stew curry, and the fantastic line-up at the carving station includes chicken, turkey, pork loin, ham, three kinds of sausages, and marinated hanger steak. The starters alone will do it-two kinds of lox, ahi tuna poke, mussels, a charcuterie selection, sushi cut rolls (limited choice), dim sum, and all sorts of salads, including make-your-own Greek.
